    Product Introduction:
Hollow fiber membranes are self-supporting membranes with a fibrous appearance. They are a type of asymmetric membrane, with the dense layer located either on the outer surface (as in reverse osmosis membranes) or on the inner surface (as in microfiltration, nanofiltration, and ultrafiltration membranes). The membrane tube wall is covered with micropores, with pore size expressed in terms of molecular weight cut-off (MWCO), ranging from several thousand to several hundred thousand Daltons. Feed water is pressurized to flow on the outside or inside of the hollow fiber membranes, corresponding to outside-in and inside-in configurations, respectively. Bona Biotechnology currently offers two main models of hollow fiber membranes: US20K and US1200HI-100. We will select the most suitable hollow fiber membrane for our customers based on their specific process requirements, system characteristics, and relevant technical specifications.

    Basic Configuration & Applications

Hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane modules and systems can be applied in three primary industrial areas: concentration, separation of small-molecule solutes, and fractionation of macromolecular solvents. They are widely used in water purification for the removal of bacteria, viruses, suspended solids, microorganisms, macromolecular organics, colloids, and pyrogens from water. They are also extensively applied in chemical separation, pharmaceutical and healthcare, food processing, tea beverages, as well as filtration and purification of vinegar, wine, and other alcoholic beverages.
